Almost all digital photos look better when you sharpen them in Photoshop. To sharpen photos, use the Unsharp Mask or the new Smart Sharpen filters available in the Filter menu. For best results in most photos, first increase the amount to a setting between 100 and 300, set the Radius to around 1.3 or 1.4, and then slide the Threshold slider to about 5 to 7 to reduce sharpening artifacts.

These settings are typical, but the Amount, Radius, and Threshold settings might be different for your photos.
