Finally we're ready to edit some images in Camera Raw! I start by taking care of the major business first — making color and tonal corrections (including curves) to my image in the Adjust tab (Ctrl+Alt+1, or ^+Option+1 on a Mac).
When you first open an image in Camera Raw, the default tab shown is the Adjust tab shown in Figure 9-6. The Adjust tab is where you'll make all of your color and tonal adjustments that were described in Chapter 7, white balance (or color and tint), exposure, shadows, brightness, contrast, and saturation.
