Applying Same Style to Multiple Layers

If you want to apply the same layer style to multiple layers, you have two options. Number one, have the Style palette open, select all the layers you want to apply the style to, and then click the style thumbnail in the palette; number two, if the style is already applied to a single layer, copy and paste it by taking the following steps:

1. Select the source layer in the Layers palette.

2. Right-click (Windows), Ctrl-click (Mac OS) the f icon of the source layer and choose Copy Layer Style, or choose Layer ^ Layer Style ^ Copy Layer Style.

3. Select all the target layers.

4. Right-click (Windows), Ctrl-click (Mac OS) one of the target layers and then choose Paste Layer Style, or choose Layer ^ Layer Style ^ Paste Layer Style.

Of course, if the style has been previously saved, you can select the layers and simply click the style thumbnail in the Styles palette and the style will be applied to all the selected layers.
