Slideshow Mode

You can view a folder of images or selected images as a slide show. This can be handy when you want to automatically cycle through large previews of the files in a folder. Unfortunately, you cannot save the slide show, so its usage is limited.

To start the slide show, make sure that a folder is selected or that images that you want to include in the slideshow are selected. Next, choose View ^ Slideshow or Ctrl+L (Windows), (Mac OS). When the slide show starts, instructions on how to control the slide show are displayed. You can hide them by pressing H and, likewise, reveal them by pressing H again.

■ To start and pause, press Spacebar.

■ To decrease duration, press Shift+S.

■ To increase duration, press S.

■ To exit, press Esc or double-click anywhere.

■ To view manually, use the Left and Right Arrow keys.

By default, the slideshow starts with the file selected in the contents panel. If you want it to start with the first file in a list, make sure that it's selected or that no files are selected. To deselect all files, choose Edit^ Deselect All, or Ctrl+Shift+A (Windows), ^ + Shift+A (Mac OS).
