• Click the Create button in the Shortcuts bar.

• Drag the items into the Workspace window.

• Right-click one of the selected items and choose Add Selected Items to the Workspace from the context-sensitive menu.

Your items are copied into the Workspace and numbered accordingly, as shown in Figure 16-2.

You also can select items before you access the Workspace. Select your files and then use one of the methods described in Step 1. Your images appear when you open the Workspace.

Here are some additional tips for using the Workspace:

i Moving or resizing the Workspace window: To move the window, drag it by the title bar. To resize, move your mouse over a side or corner of the window. Drag when the pointer changes to a double-headed arrow.

i Changing the order of the files in the Workspace: Select and drag the item to a different position. A yellow line appears where the item will be placed when you release the mouse. The files will automatically renumber themselves.

Once you are in the Workspace, if you want to add files, don't click the Create button on the Shortcuts bar. If you do, Album will clear your currently selected items and replace them with your new additions. Instead, use one of the other methods described in Step 2 to add more files to the Workspace.

i Removing an item from the Workspace: Use one of the following methods to remove an item:

• Drag the item to the Clear button in the Workspace window.

• Right-click an item and choose Remove from Workspace from the context-sensitive menu.

• To remove all items, click the Clear button in the Workspace window.
