Choosing a Work area with neutral Walls

Like the computer desktop, keep the walls of your work area neutral as well. You don't have to paint the room gray (although, believe it or not, hard-core color and retouching experts do), but try to avoid lots of colorful artwork around and behind your monitor. Even objects and art that aren't directly next to your screen image may influence your perception.
