Editing Creations

If, when previewing your creation in Step 4 of the Creations Wizard, you notice that a photo needs cropping, rotating, or other edits, you need to work outside of the Workspace and Creations Wizard to fix the problem. Follow the steps below to find out how:

1. In the Preview Your Album window of the Creations Wizard, click the Rearrange Photos button.

The Workspace window opens.

2. Double-click the photo in the Workspace to select it in the Photo Well.

Move your Workspace window around your screen until you locate the selected image in the Photo Well. It will have a yellow border around it, as shown in Figure 17-17.

3. Click the Fix button in the Shortcuts bar.

The Fix Photo dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 17-18. You can apply edits such as cropping, rotating, sharpening, and red eye removal. You also can adjust or color, contrast, and lighting.

Only the descriptive information of the creation is saved in your catalog. You will not find a creation file residing on your hard drive. If you want the physical file, you need to publish the creation as a PDF.

If you need to find your creations in the Photo Well, choose FindOBy Media TypeOCreations. All of your creations appear in the Photo Well.

Creations won't be displayed when the Photo Well is sorted by Import Batch or by Folder Location because there is no physical file on the hard drive, so be sure to sort by date instead. For more on finding files, see Chapter 8.
