Anti-aliasing adds colors to your image, so if you're concerned about file size, consider choosing None to reduce the number of colors in your image. The trade-off is that any curved edges in your text will appear jagged and rough.
TRY IT To change the anti-aliasing method for text before it's created, click first on any Type tool in the toolbox. Then, click the Anti-aliasing drop-down menu in the Options bar or the Paragraph palette and select the desired method.
To change the anti-aliasing method for text that's already been created, use the Type tool to highlight the text before changing the method in the Options bar or the Paragraph palette.
