► Caution

Remember that most other programs don't yet support these enhanced features of the TIFF file format, so if you're planning to import this file into another program, you can likely uncheck all boxes and save it As A Copy instead.

In the TIFF Options dialog box, specify whether to compress the image:

• LZW The most common and widely supported; works best for images with large areas of flat color

• ZIP Great compression, especially for images with large areas of flat color, but not well supported

• JPEG Great compression for photographic imagery, but often produces unreliable results when printed (particularly when color separations need to be made from the image)
