By default, when you add a new layer to a file with animation frames, that layer is visible across all frames. You can select one or more frames in the Animation palette and uncheck the eye icon on a particular layer to make it invisible for the selected layers.
TRY IT You can also perform any of the following tasks in the Animation palette to further customize the animation:
1. To move a frame within the sequence of the animation, click once on the frame in the Animation palette and drag it to the new location.
2. To delete a frame, click once on the frame in the Animation palette and drag it over the Trash button at the bottom of the palette.
3. To delete the entire animation, click the triangle in the upper-right corner of the Animation palette and choose Delete Animation from the palette menu.
Continue adding new frames and editing their contents through the Layers palette as needed until you're satisfied with the flow of information in the animation. To save the animation for web use, see the tip "Optimize GIF Animations," later in the chapter.
