To create a brand new set of swatches, as I did in Figure 1-5, pick any existing swatch library, and delete all of those swatches before adding your own.

To delete a swatch, hold the mouse over the swatch and hold down the ALT key (Windows) or OPTION key (Mac) until a small pair of scissors appears before clicking. Alternatively, you can right-click (Windows) or CTRL-click (Mac) any swatch and choose Delete from the pop-up menu.

When you're finished with a library, click the triangle in the upper-right corner of the Swatches palette and choose Save Swatches to save your new swatch library for later use.
