Evaluating the Possibilities

Now that you have some experience creating and editing images, your assessment abilities have probably sharpened. You are more accustomed to deciding what imagery is useful for a particular project. You may also find that you've begun looking at images in terms of their potential usefulness for other projects. You might, for example, see a great element in one image and think, "That object has a crisp edge. I could isolate it using the Magnetic Lasso Tool and use it for this other project."


Don't be surprised when a simple touch-up job that you thought would take a few minutes actually takes hours. Sometimes what appears to be a simple effect, is the one that requires the most work.
