Motion Blur

The Motion Blur produces a very photo-realistic simulation of a delayed exposure. This can be used to simulate motion, or to add streaks of light from an image. This filter blurs and equal amount in two directions, which can be set from an angle dial. The intensity settings range from 1 to 999 (though higher values are meant for print resolution images). This filter also produces very nice results when it is faded. This is an effective way to liven up stills or text effects for use on-screen. Applying a 1- or 2-pixel Motion Blur (set to a 90° angle) can help reduce interlace flicker on text or logos.
